eCAADe "Education and research in Computer Aided Architectural Design in Europe" is a non-profit making association of institutions and individuals with a common interest in promoting good practice and sharing information in relation to the use of computers in education and research in architecture and related professions. Founded in 1983 the eCAADe 2008 conference will give a “kick start” to the next 25 years.

eCAADe covers Europe, Middle East, North Africa and Western Asia and works in collaboration with the four other major international associations in the field: ACADIA (www.acadia.org), CAADRIA (www.caadria.org), CAADFutures (www.caadfutures.org), SIGRADI (www.sigradi.org).
The annual conferences are a major source of information in the eCAADe field. All members have access to the digital proceedings and eCAADe related articles in the CUMINCAD database (cumincad.scix.net)

eCAADe has collaborated with its sister associations to devise an exiting international journal for the field called IJAC "International Journal of Architectural Computing" (www.architecturalcomputing.org). Members of eCAADe and conference delegates receive preferential rates for subscription to this journal. We encourage you to both subscribe to the Journal and submit your work to be considered for inclusion in the Journal.

eCAADe is supporting participants from certain countries by giving a substantial reduction to the registration fee. Details on this and more information on the eCAADe organization can be found on www.ecaade.org. eCAADe membership and all its benefits are automatically included for one year in the participation in the annual conference.
